Information you share and information needed to load the site
The contact forms on the home and project library pages ask for your name, email address, and message. You can also email me directly. Sending a message is optional; if you choose to use a form, its fields are required so I can respond.
When you visit, the hosting service and resources loaded by your browser may process basic request information such as your IP address, browser type, device details, referring page, and pages requested. This is separate from the message you choose to send.
Responding to enquiries and running the portfolio
I use messages to reply to enquiries and, where relevant, follow up about professional roles, collaboration, or project discussions. I rely on my legitimate interests in responding to people who contact me and keeping relevant professional correspondence. I do not sell contact details or use messages for unrelated marketing.
Technical request information is processed to deliver and protect the site and its services. My legitimate interest is keeping the portfolio available and secure.
Service providers and external links
Both contact forms submit your name, email address, and message to Formspree, which receives and stores submissions so they can be delivered to me. Formspree says its service is hosted in the United States and that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
The site is configured for Vercel hosting and uses Supabase for published project and credential data and private administrator authentication. For authorised administrators, Supabase also handles account and sign-in information. Loading the site, public data, fonts, and scripts can send basic request information to Vercel, Supabase, Google Fonts, unpkg, and jsDelivr. Their processing locations and safeguards depend on their services and settings; contact me if you need further details.
If you follow a link to LinkedIn, GitHub, a project app, or another external site, that service handles your visit under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public portfolio does not currently run optional analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not set analytics cookies. The site does not request your precise browser location.
If optional analytics are introduced, the notice and any required choice controls will be updated before they run. Third party services may operate their own technologies when your browser loads their resources or when you visit their sites.
Keeping information only while it is useful
I keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond, handle follow up correspondence, and maintain relevant professional records, then delete them when they are no longer needed. Copies may also remain in Formspree or email according to the settings and retention practices of those services. You can ask me to review or delete a message you sent.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, or restrict the use of your personal information. You may also have a right to data portability.
